Positivity

I have the power to change my thoughts in a second. I'm allowed to do what I want with my life. I have the power to change myself. I allow myself to play and enjoy life. I am making a difference in this world. I am at peace with all that has happened. I am at peace with all that is happening. I am at peace with all that will happen. My life is just beginning. Today, I abandon my old habits. I take up new habits, more positive ones. I've given up my bad habits and am so grateful for that. I am now free from my bad habits. I only do positive habits. I am thankful that I get to live another day. I see the world with beauty and color. I deserve whatever good comes my way today. Today is rich with opportunity. I open my heart to receive the opportunities of today. I take the time to show my friends that I care about them. I live a positive life and seek only the best.

A Day Out

The other day, I went to the city and spent most of the afternoon just chatting with my friends at a cafe. Recently, I visited the city and spent a good part of the afternoon catching up with my friends at a cafe. We talked about different things, including... We discussed various topics, such as our relationships, work, and office politics. It was interesting to hear their perspectives on different people It was intriguing to learn what they think about various people. Before we left, we made a promise to get together again in the near future. Before we departed, we promised to hang out again sometime soon. On the way back, I happened upon an old bookstore. There, I found a book I had been looking for, which made me happy. Upon returning home, I stumbled upon an old bookstore and was thrilled to discover a book I had been searching for. As it was getting dark, I found myself planning for the following weekend. As the day was winding down, I started making plans for the upcoming ...

Beautiful Music

When I was a kid, I had a passion for planting seeds in my backyard garden. I would dig small holes, place the seeds inside, cover them with soil, and water them daily, eagerly waiting for something magical to unfold. However, the reality was a little different. Days would pass, and I wouldn’t see any signs of growth emerging from those patches of dirt. As a child, I struggled to grasp why it took so long for the seeds to sprout into little plants. My impatience wanted instant results! But my mom always reminded me that good things take time. She explained that the seeds needed to rest beneath the soil to develop before they could break through. That experience with seeds taught me a valuable lesson that still resonates with me today. Just like those seeds, many wonderful things in life—like learning new skills, achieving goals, or becoming a better version of ourselves—require time to evolve from small beginnings into something remarkable. We live in an age where we can get near...

A simple Story

Once upon a time, a traveler arrived at the gate of a city after a long and exhausting journey. He paused for a moment, gazing at the city and pondering about the people who lived within. Nearby, he noticed an old man sitting quietly. The traveler approached him and inquired about the kind of people who resided in the city. The old man replied with curiosity, "What were the people like in the place you left behind?" The traveler frowned, reflecting on his past. "They were selfish and unkind, caring only for themselves," he answered. The old man nodded thoughtfully. "You will find the same type of people here," he said, offering a sympathetic gaze. The traveler sighed, feeling a sense of disappointment wash over him. Not long after, another traveler arrived at the same city, walking briskly and taking in the surroundings with enthusiasm. He spotted the old man and stopped to ask, "What kind of people live here?" Once again, the old man regarded ...

General Assumption

In my opinion,   it would be silly to go anywhere   during the summer holidays. It seems to me that   airline tickets are much more expensive,   and I think that   hotel rates are way too high as well. I’m certain that   museums and attractions   are far too crowded   to be enjoyable. I realize that   the weather is usually lovely   in May,   but I feel that   we really should just stay at home. I suppose   it might be a good time   to invite friends over to dinner. I assume that   you would do all the cooking,   of course.

Business Communications

Business COMMUNICATION today’s phrase is: About the…, We use this to bring up a topic  of communication.   repeat after me: About the party,  should we invite the president? About the newspaper ad,  did we finalize it already? About the property near the river,  do we have to pay taxes this month? About the contract,  I'd like it by tomorrow if that’s okay. About the architect,  do you think he needs more time?   Okay now let’s practice this with a short conversation:   Mr. Jones, I'm sorry to bother you. No problem. What is it? About the construction,  can they stop for a few hours. Um… I’m not sure about that. My department has a meeting  here at two. We'll be finished by four. I'd really appreciate it if  they'd stop for just two hours. Well… I'll check and see  if we can make it work.

Mother's Fraustration

I’m tired of him! Who the hell does he think he is to insult me that way? insult: to speak to or treat with disrespect. I cannot believe it. I am the adult. How dare he? Where does he get the nerve to speak that way? the nerve: the audacity, the boldness, the arrogance, the cockiness, Where does he get the nerve to speak that way? I just don’t know what to say. I’m at a loss for words here. I cannot believe our daughter is dating an animal like that. What a piece of crap he is. What a piece of shit he is. You know, I told her to stay away from Americans. Did she listen? Of course not. She does what she wants to do anyway. What’s the point? I never liked him from day one. Hey, I’m sorry, but it’s how my mother raised me. She told me, "Nella, you stay away from those American boys. They are conceited and jealous". conceited: excessively proud of oneself So, that’s exactly what I did. I respected my mother's wishes. If my mother said jump in front of a train I would have, ...
