Marry Me -- Story

Once upon a time, there was a prince who was cursed when he was a little boy. The curse limited him to speaking only five words every year. However, if he didn't speak for a whole year, he would then be able to speak ten words the next year and so on. One day, he met a princess named Josie, and he wanted to express his love for her by saying, “My Princess, I love you.” That would be five words. But he decided to wait one more year so he could say, “My princess, I love you. Will you marry me?" That would be nine words, leaving one more word to spare. He pondered what he would say after she said, “Yes!” He thought about saying, “Happy, celebration, joy, delight, or WONDERFUL!”

The young prince excitedly waited another year to propose to her. In the second year, he visited the princess, approached her respectfully, and asked, “My princess, I love you. Will you marry me?" The princess said, "Pardon?” “I was so surprised to hear you speak that I didn’t hear what you said.” The prince was dumbfounded (astonished, surprised, amazed) and used his last word for the year. “SHIT!”
